No more spelling out passwords: create a QR code for your WiFi — guests scan it with their phone camera and are connected instantly.
How it works
- Enter the network name (SSID) and password — exactly as configured on your router or access point (case-sensitive).
- Choose the security type — almost always “WPA2 / WPA3”.
- Download or print — PNG with a heading for a sign, SVG for printing at any size, or print directly.
Modern iPhones (iOS 11+) and Android devices (Android 10+) recognise WiFi QR codes directly in the camera app.
Tips for practices, cafés and offices
- Always separate guest WiFi from your business network — ideally with its own VLAN or your access point’s guest mode.
- Change the password regularly and simply print a new QR code.
- Sign without the password? Untick “Print the password on the sign” — the QR code still works.
FAQ
Is my WiFi password safe? Yes. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser. Neither network name nor password is transmitted or stored.
Does it work with WPA3? Yes. “WPA2 / WPA3” works for both; the device negotiates the method supported by the network.
